General Terms & Conditions:
  • For weddings and functions the venue fee covers for the use of the venue facilities until 12h30 pm, after which an overtime charge of R1200.00 per hour will be levied. Please take note that should you decide to continue into venue overtime the venue will close at 3h00 and the bar will close at 2h30 at the latest.
  • No own liquor is allowed on the premises. A fully licensed cash bar is available for alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.
  • Vandalism, abusive and or indecent guests will not be tolerated and will be escorted from the premises
  • Menus will be worked out according to your needs and start from R280.00 pp
  • Any changes between Perdekraal  and the Client must be done in writing and signed and agreed upon by both parties.
  • Perdekraal can host up to 200 guests
  • We will gladly assist you with your accommodation needs
  • For a Saturday wedding we require a minimum of 100 guests
  • We recommend a standard gratuity of R10.00 pp that is added to the final invoice. That will be distributed among staff.
  • Access to the venue is to be confirmed with the wedding coordinator
  • Please inform your service providers that our staff are not to be asked to transfer their equipment/décor, any such requests must be directed to management. If staff is available we will be more than happy to assist.
  • we don’t allow candles to be placed directly on our linen. Candleholders should be wide enough to ensure no wax damage to the linen. Table cloths with candlewax on will be cleaned at the clients expense and costs deducted from your deposit.
  • Allocated smoking areas are available outside.
  • Rights of admission reserved.
  • The final number of guests as discussed at the final appointment will be the number charged for. Note that should your guests be below the minimum required, clients will be automatically be billed for the specified minimum.
  • Menu prices remain subject to change due to economic factors during the course of the year.
  • Suppliers contracted to work at the venue will be included in the total guest amount/selected menu for catering purposes
  • Menus cannot be changed after your final appointment.
  • In the event that an item cannot be found on the menu it will be replaced with another option without prior notice.
  • Should an outside caterer be used for any catering or any approved reason for the entire function, a surcharge of R130.00 pp will apply. A procedure for outside caterers has been put into place and is essential for these Suppliers to adhere to the Perdekraal Code of Conduct. In additional R1500.00 refundable deposit will be charged for the use of the kitchen.
  • We require clients to brief us regarding their requirements for the provision of a full bar or a cash bar. You are welcome to set the limit on the total bar expenditure for your account. We are willing to supply a regular update of the bar account during the function..
  • Corkage fee is charged at R60.00 per bottle and will only be granted by special request,
  • Wine orders are to be placed three weeks prior to a function.
  • Changes to the bar requirements at any stage are to be done in writing.
  • No permanent alterations are allowed, including nails or hooks into the walls
  • Décor and props must be removed by 9hoo the following day. Any items not removed with in6 days will be discarded off. Perdekraal  does not accept liability for loss or damage to any props/décor.
